Creating Unique Smiles for Wonderful People
I love communicating one-to-one with my clients, and building a relationship with each of them. I strive to create a smile that is unique and customized to the individual’s needs and expectations. It’s an amazing experience to create dentures that increase a person’s comfort and self-esteem. Seeing a client leave the office with a confident smile on his or her face makes me smile.
I am grateful to meet so many diverse people. Hearing about their experiences and families creates a bond that goes beyond provider and client. I am always happy when clients shares part of their life story with me. I learn a lot about the world — and myself — from our conversations.
I’ve been involved in the dental field since graduating from high school: as a dental assistant and working in dental labs. I enjoyed the patient care and interaction of being an assistant, but craved to use my creativity and artistic abilities.
I explored various fields of dental technology and realized that I needed a combination of patient interaction and creativity. Denturism was the perfect route for me. I found my dream job: creating smiles on a personal level, directly with my clients.
Building dentures is more of a passion than a profession for me. It doesn’t feel like work as much as a hobby: but it’s a hobby that improves the lives of others!
Education and Continuing Education
I graduated from the dental assisting program at Fanshawe College in London, ON. Then I studied dental technology at George Brown College in Toronto, and later graduated from Denturism there.
Each year I participate in many hours of continuing education. I learn from the leaders in denture care, through dental implant and denture technology organizations. Continuing education ensures that I am up to date on the latest materials, technologies, and advances in the industry and in patient care.

I was born and raised here in Sault Ste. Marie. Post-secondary training took me away from my hometown, but I returned as soon as I graduated and began practicing.
When I’m not in the office, or studying the latest developments in Denturism, I’m likely outside enjoying nature. I love being on the water. You can often find me launching my boat at the local marina, and spending the day venturing around the beautiful waters in the Algoma District.
