At the Sault Algoma Denture Clinic, we understand the cost of dental treatment can be overwhelming. We do our best to keep our payment policy the standard for each patient.
You will be informed of the total cost of treatment prior to commencing with the fabrication. The steps, time frame, and payments will be explained to you during your free consultation.
Patients without Insurance
If you do not have dental insurance, you are responsible to pay for 50% of your treatment cost on your second visit. This is considered a deposit and is non-refundable. The balance on the treatment cost is due the day you take home the dentures.
For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Interac, cheque, and cash.
Patients with Insurance
We accept all insurance plans and do our best to complete all insurance paperwork for you.
If you have a dental insurance plan, we can help to complete a treatment pre-authorization for you. The insurance company will require denture codes and costs from our office to determine whether the treatment is covered under your policy and how much they will cover.
It is your responsibility to let our office know when you receive the predetermination information so we can plan the next steps to complete your denture treatment.
All claims through any insurance company can be billed and directly paid to us if your policy allows for it. Your only responsibility is to take care of any balance (in full) directly with us on your second visit.
If you are covered under any of the following insurance companies, please call us to help you with getting approved, since the process is slightly different:
- Indian Affairs (NIHB)
- Ontario Works (OW)
- Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
- WSIB claims
